2026 NAGLO CONFERENCE | Albuquerque, New Mexico

This year's National Association of Government Labor Officials (NAGLO) annual conference is Sept. 29 to Oct. 2, 2026, at the Hotel Albuquerque in Old Town, 800 Rio Grande Blvd. NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The in-person conference, hosted by the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions, will begin the evening of Tuesday, Sept. 29, and conclude at noon on Friday, Oct. 2. This year’s NAGLO conference aligns with the start of the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, taking place Oct. 3 to 11, 2026. Attendees may wish to extend their stay in Albuqueque to experience the fiesta’s daily mass ascensions and evening balloon glows, featuring more than 500 balloons.

Up to two conference attendees' fees are included in NAGLO membership. Attendees must have renewed membership dues for FY 2027 (July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027).

 

Hotel Albuquerque reservations

NAGLO has reserved a block of rooms at the Hotel Albuquerque for Sept. 29 through Oct. 1, 2026. Tuesday night arrival, departure Friday morning.

Note: No rooms are available at this hotel outside these dates due to other events and the local Balloon Fiesta.

HOTEL ROOM RATES AND PAYMENT DETAILS

Up to two representatives per state may book rooms at the local travel per diem rate of $144 per night for Sept. 29 through Oct. 1. Any additional attendees from the same state will be charged the hotel’s base rate of $239 per night.

When making a reservation, all guests will initially be quoted the base rate of $239 per night. However, eligible NAGLO members (up to two per state) will ultimately pay:

NAGLO and the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions will prepay the $95 nightly difference directly to the hotel before the conference. As a result, eligible attendees will see the correct reduced rate reflected at checkout at the end of their stay.
